I'm of course new to this community, and a newbie of the Atkins. I was planning on starting atkins on monday, i have been studying up on it and I was just looking through some lj's and found an anti-atkins site. Some of these people's testimonials or experiences with people on the diet were a little frightening. A number of people commented on the fact that people on Atkins seem to become super forgetful. Also they said that there was like severe personality changes and extreme depression. If one were to take Omega3, as recommended, for brain activity, is this for real?
I was wondering if anyone could shed some light for me? I am very interested in this diet and kind of would like the details and opinions!
